forward payment, deferred payment, advance payment

Hi,
Could anyone explain the meaning of these phrases? I would also like to know what the difference between forward payment and advance payment is, if any.

"Advance payment" is a payment for something before it is sent or received "Deferred payment" refers to a payment is not received or sent at an expected or agreed time.

Thank you both for your time. The original text is german. Forward payment is a translation from the german text (it is supposed to be a good translation). Forward payment is obviously not a commonly used english phrase. I could not find it anywhere, although I checked a lot of different dictionaries. I guess the english - german translation could be questionable. If I establish what it means, I w

I would have thought that "forward" would be more like "advance" but since it says the price is less with cash, it doesn't seem so.
