FORTY or FOURTY which is correct?

FORTY or FOURTY which is correct?
I seem to see both used. I never know which is correct when I write a check or something like that.

FORTY, never FOURTY, but note FOURTEEN and FOURTH
also FORTH as in GO FORTH.
