Formula is the singular form of formulae and formulas, it depends which English you're speaking. e.g British English or American English.

American --> formulas
British -->formulae

No - it doesn't matter whether you're American or British. The plural is subject dependent, although I will accept that most Americans don't follow this. If you are discussing math (or maths for our British readers) or science - the plural is formulae. For all other discussions, the plural is formulas. As a chemistry teacher, I use formulae, however, as I stated before, most of my colleagues w
