Forming/writing questions correctly with "where"
Hi. Please help me write the correct questions to the following sentences which involves the use of the word "where."
1. He played at the beach?
Correct question? Where did he play?
2. He performed at/in a concert hall.
Correct question? Where did he perform?
3. He spoke at the get-together.
Correct question? Where did he speak?
Also, please help me with this if you can. I think I have seen some sentences with prepositions like "to", "in" and "at" in front of the word "where," including in questions. Would they be correct?
