Forming a (simple?) question?

Howdy!

I've been thinking how to ask a hairdresser about the price of a haircut. I'm not quite sure which one would be a nice-sounding English sentence...

1) I'd like to aks/know how much the haircut is.
2) I'd like to ask/know how much is (for?) the haircut.

Thx!

The first one sounds better to me. I would say "Please could you tell me how much a haircut is?", or "What is the price for a cut and blow-dry, please?"

Or, I'd like to know the price of the haircut.....how much you charge for the haircut.
Otherwise, I agree with RubyRose.
