[ We don't like texting abbreviations here, and we insist on capitalizing the pronoun I. ] The first sentence (or so) should introduce the topic with an interesting, catchy idea: Did you know that more than 40% of the people in this city still don't have running water? The end should capsulize the ideas you have presented in the well-organized content of your speech: I hope that you will join in my campaign to be sure that every household will soon have hot and cold running water.
