Vocabulary

Formally speaking

Hi
it s the first time i'm practicing this site. i wonder which one is more formal to say: graduated from...universities OR holding degrees from....universities.
My other question is what's the vocabulary for saying to have degree beyond speciality in medical science?
thanks

Holding a degree is more formal. As for your last question, it depends upon what the degree beyond the specialty degree is. Rob Hewson
