I've a serious case regarding my study. I've completed my level-3 study last semester (ordinary Bachelor) and right now I'm doing my first semester of Hons degree but due to a financial issue I've decided to discontinue my study, probably for a long time which is not less than 2 or 3 years. The problems is that the college rule states that a student should pay any remaining fees before any discontinuation. I talk personally to the head of the department and he recommended me to write a letter to the dean which he might understand my case.
Some point must be considered:
- I've completed my study till level-3 (ordinary bachelor) and there is no fees remaining for the level 3 - I started the first semester of Hons degree 2 months ago. The semester ends after 1 month. I've paid third of the fees and 2 thirds remaining. - The fees that i've paid till now can't be refund which I accept it. - I would like to quit my Hons study. - Withdrew with an ordinary bachelor (no fees remaining for that level). - I haven't cost the college anything except attending the classes and collecting of books. - I will return the whole text books and course materials provided by the college. - I can't afford paying the remaining fees for the current and next semester. - The college might destroy my future since i'm not able to get my ordinary degree which is not part of the problem as I believe ( I've paid every penny required from level1 to level3).
My english is a little bit weak and i don't have experience in writing an official letter. I would like to have some help writing a polite and humble letter to my college's dean.
Please guys I need help as soon as possible.
Thanks for your time and consideration.
