Formal short sentence.correct?

Please take a look on my sentence below:

I am willing to take an induction training as a result it would improve my translation and interpreting skills.

The problem is that i have to express my willing for interpreting course in one small sentence.Does it makes any sense?it looks very poor.... I would be really pleased to get tips how can i emphasis this my willing.Thanks a lot
