I'm working for a logistic firm as a sales coordinator. I want to write a formal business email to a well established company's logistic department for information on their RFQ (Request For Quotation) program. I did contact them to get the information on the same but the person told me that no such thing and hung up. I don't know a name or the concerned person there and would be probably sending the email on an 'info' email address.
All I would like to know is general info like when would their RFQ tender release / advertised, through which medium / source where we can learn about it (like would it be through newspaper, internet...on their website, etc), how / where can we apply for the bid etc.
PLEASE HELP me with the most effective letter concerning the about mentioned information.
Thank you.
Sincerely,
P.
