formal lrtter endings

Is it appropriate to end formal letter by writing Many thanks?

Top answer

Yes and No, it depends how formal the letter is. If you are writing to your teacher, you might get away with writing many thanks at the end of your letter, but if you are responding to a job offer from a company addressing the recruiting manager, you have to end your letter with one of the formal ending style Yours sincerely Yours faithfully Yours truly or less formal version of these Kind/best regards Hamid
