Formal letter. Asking for information and giving some information about myself.
Could you please correct my letter?
Dear Sir or Madam
I am interested in studying (Subject) in the University of (Name) and would like to know if you are still accepting the applications.
I am a 19 year old EU student. I have finished school in 2011 July thus I already have the final grades and results of the examinations. Moreover, I am currently studying (Subject) in university in (Country).
If any further information is necessary in order to tell if my application could be considered I would be glad to provide you it.
