Dear Ms. ABC:
I have been a student at DEF University since May 2010 in the Foundation in Arts leading to B.A. (Hons) in Accounting and Finance in next semester, May 2011. However, I have come to believe that the B.A. (Hons) in Accounting program would be a better fit for me. Therefore, I am writing to request that I be allowed to transfer to B.A (Hons) in Accounting in next semester.
I wish to do that because after my research, i found that since this year the B.A (Hons) in Accounting and Finance have
no more exemptions for 9 fundamental level of papers in ACCA(The Association of Chartered Certified Accountants)
but the B.A. (Hons.) in Accounting can be exempted for that 9 fundamental papers. Since my ambition is to study
for the ACCA, the B.A. (Hons) in Accounting will provide me a good programme better than the programme of
B.A. (Hons) in Accounting and Finance in order for me to become a qualified member of ACCA. This transfer
of programme will change my whole life. I hope that you will approve for this transfer of programme. I will treasure
it very much after it have been succeeded to transfer the programme. Thanks for your time to consider about it.
