Formal letter

Question

I was selected my elective course as Digital Image Processing.I have decided to do my mini project in PHP.So I kindly request you to change my elective course into PHP.(This is formal letter.I have to give this tomorrow.can any one check grammar mistakes?

~~I want to state that~~ (These words are not necessary. It is better to be direct and to the point. ) I had selected Digital Image Processing ( DIP) as a my elective course previously ~~in the beginning~~. (previously and in the beginning mean the same thing. Choose one or the other, but not both!) But now I have ~~rather~~ decided to complete PHP as my mini project.
Therefore I am kindly requesting you to change my elective course to PHP.

First thing.For the formal letter,you need to to start with 'i want to state that' as it is mandatory in that place where she has to submit.
Second thing,i think she is mature enough to write 'i' as 'I' when she will actually write a letter.
Third thing is that,"PREVIOUSLY" is different from "IN THE BEGINNING." as PREVIOUSLY does not give us a idea about the actual timing,it just gives us the idea about the past thing so we don't know when thing took place in the past. and "IN THE BEGINNING" represents the actual timing when something started. so both were right as joint.
Fourth thing is that, when you are changing something, to emphasise that thing you can add 'RATHER' .that was what i did.
Fifth thing is that.you add 'THANKING YOU' instead of 'Thank you"
Sixth thing is that, 'KEEPSMILING' was my profile name so i wrote 'FROM KEEPSMILING'

keepsmilingFirst thing.For the formal letter,you need to to start with 'i want to state that' as it is mandatory in that place where she has to submit. I don't know where the poster is. These words are not necessary for formal letters in most places, and she didn't write it in the original letter.

Second thing,i think she is mature enough to write 'i' as 'I' when she will actually write a letter.I have been writing lots of answers to posters. I don't assume anything. I try to make the letter better and insure correctness, especially in a request for a formal letter.

True, but the phrases are redundant. Also, you are putting words in her letter that were not in the original post. When I make suggestions, I try to keep as close as possible to the original meaning, and not add anything extra.

Fifth thing is that.you add 'THANKING YOU' instead of 'Thank you" Thank you is much more common than "Thanking you", to end a letter. You wrote "thanking", and I crossed out the "ing". Other endings would be more formal such as Respectfully yours, Sincerely yours.

Sixth thing is that, 'KEEPSMILING' was my profile name so i wrote 'FROM KEEPSMILING' I smiled because I like your profile name.

I hope you might have got my points. Indeed, and I have answered all of them.

Could you please help to correct the e-mail I have to sent to clients. We want to send them a document for approval and it would be great if letter will be correct

"Good afternoon,

We have prepared the final version of the document name . Could you please have a look and check if everything is ok for you.
It would be great if we will receive the feedback till Wednesday, so we will be able to give it to department for the investigation and analysis."
