Hello,

He ________ me how to play chess game.

The action word given to me is "teach". I have to fill in the blank with correct form of the verb.

Is "taught" correct form?

Thanks.

Yes it is one correct choice, but there is another problem: He taught me how to play (the game of) chess . Of course, there are other equally correct answers: he will teach me; he has taught me; he is teaching me ; etc.
