Fork-tender

Hi, I have two questions:
1) What does it mean to cook sth until it's fork-tender?

2) When we say that sb has high concentration of sth in one's blood central, what does blood central mean?

Thank you

Hi Antonia, 1. Sounds like it's cooked when you can easily stick a fork into it. Not sure about the second one.

I saw your post about blood central earlier on, Antonia, I tried to Google, but nothing came...
I guess it has to do with the main blood flood, but I don't have a clue as to what it means...

Maybe it's a central/main/basic blood analysis?
I'll check!

Could you give us more context or the rest of the sentence about "blood central"? I've never heard this phrase, it sounds very strange.
