Forgetting curve, tiptoe

Hi,

1) “When I don’t review my notes again and again throughout the semester, the forgetting curve kicks in and the things I’ve learned will start fading away.”

Could ‘forgetting curve’ be used like this?

2) Can I ‘tiptoe around doing something’ or only ‘tiptoe around something’?

Thank you.

” Good. You really don't need "will". The clause is more idiomatic without it.
