Hi, I've got a question here: what does 'Forget I said anything' mean? is it 'Forget anything I said' ? Thanks.

No they are very different. Forget I said anything means that the speaker, is admitting that he was wrong in the information they have said because they didn't know all the facts. They are simply saying ignore my previous comments.

  • This has to be a question (and not a well phrased one at that) it means the speaker wants to double check that the listener has all the information they have heard.
