Force with accidentally

Hello.

Is the following sentence acceptabale?

He accidentally / inadvertently forced her to leave the school.

More specifically, is it possible to use "force" with adverbs such as "accidentally" and "inadvertently"?

Yes of course it is. I', just finding it difficult to imagine a situation, where someone forces someone else to do something without intending to, as "forcing" seems a very deliberate action to me...

Hi,

Tom and Mary were walking towards one another. Tom was talking on his phone and not looking where he was going. He inadvertently forced Mary to step to one side to avoid bumping into him.
