Can one use:

1-You want to keep Jake from being with Sally just for your hatred for Sally.
instead of:
2-You want to keep Jake from being with Sally just because of your hatred for Sally.

No. In your first sentence, for is not a conjunction that means because, if that was your intent.
Your second sentence sounds fine, however.
