For usage of "last"

For "last",

When I write my thought or life in English, sometimes I have been confused whether the word of "last" I wrote is right in grammar and meaning or not.
So all the time of using "Last" in my writings, I for a while needed to stop my writing and have checked its usage again
Through this time, I want to learn how to use the word by your help.

Please see the following sentences.
(1)It has taken a long time since last time I met you.
(2)It has taken a long time since the last time I met you.
(3)It has taken a long time since the time I met you last.

I've used "last" as meanings of "previous" or "recently"in all of the above sentences.
Are all of them right in grammar ?

(4) I have to last solve the problem. ( this "last" means "at the end", Is my sentence right ?)
(5) I have to solve the problem for the last time ( In this case, Can't preposition phrase of "for the last time" mean "at the end" ?)

In similar to the word of "last, The usage of "First", "Second" or something is the same as that of "last". Isn't it right ?

Thanks in advance.
