For - to Infinitive contruction

Hello! Is it possible to say: I’m glad for you to have helped me. It seems somehow “not very natural” for me. Is it because of the perfect infinitive?

Can we say: I’m glad for you to have a vacation, for instance?

I’ve found in one of the grammar books the following. With the expressions to be sorry, to be glad the infinitive is used only if the subject of the sentence represents at the same time the doer of the action expressed by the infinitive [I’m glad (pleased) to have got a ticket for the concert]. In other case a clause is used with to be glad and to be sorry .

Yesterday I searched for similar phrases in the Internet (query) just to find such sentences:

– I am glad for you to have such time to travel.

– But I am glad for you to have made this discovery as this is what Proust, more than any other author I know, might be about: the discovery and placement of ...

– I am glad for you to have family outings.

– I am glad for you to have found us!! Its a very frustrating state to be in when you know what’s wrong with your child but no one to talk to.

– I am glad for you to have a bit of time to scrap for yourself,…

Could you help me understand when it is possible to use the so-called for-to infinitive phrase ?

Thank you in advance for your help.
