0You've got them the right way round and they aren't really interchangeable. Although working 'on' commission suggests that is the only way they earn money. Most sales people get a mixture of basic salary plus commission.

Most sales people get a mixture of basic salary plus commission. In that case I suppose you could use 'for' commission. You don't work on tips though.0-
