Hi,

Question:
Is the sentence structure correct?
For those who... ... ....., I..... ... ...

Sentence:
I helped lots of people in the party.
For those who needed food, I gave them some food.
For those who felt cold, I gave them a clothes.
For those who were thirsty, I gave them a drink.

I would say 'to those who' in all of your sentences. For is probably correct too, but the meaning is somewhat strange then. For those who needed food, I gave them some food.

I would say 'to those who' in all of your sentences. For is probably correct too, but the meaning is somewhat strange then.

For those who needed food, I gave them some food. (= this could imply that the recipients of the food were not the same people who needed food)

Also , the word clothes is a plural noun so ' a clothes' is not correct.(the singular form is an article/piece of

I agree that "to" is better than "for," and I would also remove the "them."

To those who were hungry, I gave food.
To those who were thirty, I gave drinks.

It almost sounds Biblical, doesn't it?
