Hi,

I was reading "Crisis on Infinite Earths" comics, issue#2, and I've encountered with those lines:

In five crucial eras througout time the Monitor has planted certain devices powerful enough to halt the Anti-Matter tide …
Five eras which coincide with the existence of heroes such as you.
For the presence of such heroic ideals creates its own focal point!

You must protect them from our enemies. Then you must engage them on our command.

I didn't understand the bold red phrase. Can someone please explain it to me.
