"For the last few months I have been going through a financial crunch" is a correct sentence.

Hi,

I have some doubts

1. "For the last few months I have been going through a financial crunch" is a correct sentence. Does "a" necessary here?
2. Which one is correct "I went to office of XYZ company" or "I went to the office of XYZ company"?

Any help will be thankfully accepted.

Partha
