As academic learning and vocational training are of paramount importance to the maturity of children, it is often assumed that teachers' implication of teachers outweighs that for family. Although the influence of tutors is beneficial in the sense of transferring socializing skills and knowledge, I believe that there are stronger reasons why parents imply more significance than formal education.
Admittedly, some people might prefer teachers rather than parents to teach children about life matters and ameliorate their critical thinking. This view is understandable because teachers constantly provide children with information and knowledge, which in turn, helps their students become increasingly intelligent. By teaching children presentation skills, for example, they can learn from their tutors how to gather data smartly as well as keep updated with social news. Another section that most educational institutions supply is the open opportunities to participate in extracurricular activities. Through this project, children gain better communication and problem-solving skills by stimulating them to interact with others and join team games.
However, Parents have more influence than school teachers on account of personalities’ understanding and long-term process. In terms of talent, as families recognize childrens' potential sooner than anyone else, they can put more investment in that direction to maximize their children's intelligence. Take music, for example; many show a good taste in music from an early age which will be wasted if forcing them to learn rigid subjects at school instead of allowing the family to guide their smartness. Moreover, it is parents who know their teenagers' personalities the most; hence children can develop better social skills through the appropriate environment placed by parents. Especially with autistics, who cannot communicate basically, it is abnormal to let teachers treat them the same ways as their peers. It should be an autism center that most parents trust.
In conclusion, it is indisputable that parents cannot be compared with school teachers when it comes to developing children's smartness and social relationships.
