(for) part/most/all of next week

I have made up the sentences below.

(1) I will be away for part of next week.

(2) I will be away for most of next week.

(3) I will be away for all of next week.

My non-native English speaking friends think "for" is not needed. I don't agree with them. What is your opinion? Thank you very much for all your help.
