What is "construction acceptance"?

To my ear, "a period of 12 months from the date of etc." is not idiomatic.

"12 months from X" sounds like the point at which the "period" begins.

I'd probably say, ". . . . is warranted for a period of 12 months beginning on the date

Thank you very much for your answer. I do agree with you. The construction acceptance means when buidings or construction projects are finished, we will check and take over. However, I'm not sure about this phrase construction acceptance. Once again, thank you very much!
