Which one of these two sentences is correct?
I have made a mistake for not inviting you to the party.
I have made a mistake by not inviting you to the party.

Hi, They are grammatically correct, but I would say it as Not inviting you to the party was a mistake. Hamid

Use "by". I'd drop "have" as well.
