Hi

A police officer was looking for someone. He went to one guy to ask him if knew where that guy was.

That man told him that he didn't know anything, but the officer knew that he was lying and told him:

All right, we'll play the game. For now, anyway. His name is X. He's about six-one, two-twenty, with slicked back salt-and-pepper hair.

1. Does it mean that at least for the time being we'll play the game with each other?

2. I suppose "slicked back" means that he combed his hair to the back?
