The Early morning sun peaks through the sheer white curtains, a breeze brings in the salty air from outside. I wake up to my two dogs nuzzling their faces in my neck, the house smells of coffee and bacon. I make my way down the glass spiral staircase and into the kitchen and see my husband making breakfast as usual. I walk outside on to our patio facing the pacific and take in the beautiful view of the California coastline. He quickly pours me a mug of Brazilian black coffee, fixes me a plate and joins me outside. We talk about our plans for the day and everything we need to do, we’re both very successful in our fields so we’re both often very busy. After breakfast I take a quick shower, feed the dogs, and get ready to leave for work. The drive to The Broad is always filled with the hustle and bustle of early LA morning traffic but it’s completely worth it. Being the Public Relations manager for one of the best contemporary art museums in the country is truly an honor and huge responsibility that I do not take lightly. I walk in stepping on the freshly waxed marble floors and take the long way to the offices just so I can admire the artwork. I walk into my office and go over todays “To-Do” list while I rattle off some errands to my assistant. I typically pack my own lunch to save money and time, I mean why go to lunch when you could be eating and working. As I wrap up the work for the day I take a minute to appreciate my surroundings, the fact that my office is in such a colorful and lively place and that I get to represent something that brings other people joy is what keeps me going every day. The drive home from work is never any better than the drive there, LA traffic what can you do. I pull into the driveway and go inside, I am greeted by my dogs who have waited all day to see me and go on our daily runs on the beach. After our run I make dinner and my husband walks in just as I’m plating his food, I’m the better cook out of the two of us but I let him think he is. We sit and watch TV for a bit while playing with the dogs and shortly after we’re off to bed.

I enjoyed reading this. My only general criticism is that your future life seems ordinary. I'd consider an exaggerated approach to make my application stand out from the others.
