Grammar

for me

I was wondering if you could do this for me. Or

I was wondering if you can do this for me.

What's the difference between the two? Are both useable and grammatically correct?

THanks!

PreciousJonesAre both useable
They are both fine. could is more deferential and is probably more often chosen in that context because I was wondering is also somewhat deferential. The following are (more or less) increasingly deferential.

Can you get me a ticket to that concert?
Could you get me a ticket to that concert?
Do you
