For investing money or For investment money ???

Please look at this sentence. " Consumers experiencing difficulties with this appliance are advised to ___ with our consumer Service representatives at our toll-free number.
" Correct answer is " Speak" But I think I can use "contact" in there. But they said we can't use the verb of "contact" there. Please explain to me why I can't use "contact" ?

"To contact with someone" is not idiomatic. We simply contact someone.

"Consult," on the other hand, may be used with or without "with."
I advise you to consult John.
I advise you to consult with John.

"Speak" requires a preposition:
I advise you to speak with John.
I advise you to speak to
