Vocabulary

for half a year or for the half a year

Hello, guys,

I was wondering if someone could help me formulate a sentence properly. Would you say, "is it possible to rent an apartment for half a year" or rather "is it possible to rent an apartment for the half a year". Basically I'd like to rent a room for six months. Thank you!

' 'Half a year', not 'the half a year' would be right, but unnatural. Rover
