"for example" ?

Hello

I have 2 questions regarding the below sentence.

Ex) you have tried to find solutions to problems or resource issues occurring during a project only outside the company, for example, by bringing in external human resources or purchasing third party tools.

Q1. Is this correct use of "for example"?

Q2. Is this correct use of "find ..... outside the company"? It may sounds like "a project outside the company" instead.

How can I write this better?

Thank you very much.
