Grammar

"for" et "'s"

Hi everyone,

which of these 2 sentences is right please :

(1) tests for Carnaby

or

(2) Carnaby's tests

I just would like to add a precision about Carnaby: it's a store.

If I use the complete name store, can I still write ?

(1) tests for Carnaby Street store

or

(2) Carnaby Street store's tests

Can someone take a moment to explain me this grammar rule please?

Thanks and regards

Eric

Albator13 W hich of these 2 sentences is right please : (1) tests for Carnaby or (2) Carnaby's tests They are phrases, not sentences. Both are possible. You need to use them in a sentence before we know if they make sense.

Thanks.

Just an other question, technical question this time: can I flag an answer as "the right answer" please?

I think you can. We've just had an update to the system, and I don't know which buttons are working and which ones aren't. Sorry. It may be that only moderators can flag answers now. I'm not really sure.

Are you saying you tried and it failed? Or are you saying you don't know how to do it?
