FOR AGES AND IN AGES, What's up? and how's it going?

1) I haven't seen you for ages.

2) I havent't seen you in ages.

which one is grammatically correct?

what's up?

3) nothing much.

4) not much.

5) I am great.

which one is correct?

What is the difference between " what's up? and how's it going?"? I heard some native speaker say that for the question" what's up? " ,the answers can not be " I am great, I am fine ... ect. Is it correct?

Thanks
