"For a reason" in front of the sentence

Hi all,

I am struggling with the correct word order of a "For a reason" sentence like:

"For the thawing process, the vessel was pre-warmed in a water bath."

Can I write it like that? Or must I put the for-part at the end?

Thanks in advance!
