Let me elaborate my question. I want to make a reference in, say, footnote 31 to a sentence which was annotated in the footnote 16. I want to say, "See the sentence to which the footnote 16 is attached/which is annotated in footnote 16." Now, this sentence doesn't sound well to my ears. So I'd like to express the same in a short sentence like "See X of footnote 16." However, I don't know what to r

or

Please see sentence referenced in footnote 16.
