Football

Hello
Is it mistake to use "a football"? Is it uncountable? And what do you use in Europe "football" or "soccer" for this game when we kick a ball by food.
Thanks

Hi, 'a football' is fine, if you re referring to the actual ball. In Britain, the game is called 'football' , not 'soccer'. Clive

Thanks Clive,
So, I guess, if I tell about the game Emotion: football, not about the ball I don't need to use "a".
