Hi,
Do they look natural to you? I have posted a question on this topic but didn't get an answer -- maybe because it was too long. Do you think if one thinks in terms of examples or instances of things, he or she could use a countable form of any variable noun like 'food'? Is the word 'food' a variable noun?
What foods do you hate? -- Personally, I think the word 'food' is better used here.
What is one of your favorite foods? -- Eventhough, I don't find it ungrammatical, I think it is better written

Food is uncountable when we consider it as sustenance. The plural foods should be used in both of your questions; they both inquire about sorts of comestibles.

I think "foods" is fine in both sentences.
