"followed by" (survey)

Hi,

"In the questionnaire, nine of the total respondents chose A, followed by B chosen by seven, and C by five."

Would the above sentence sound natural if you said it in front of people (e.g. in a meeting)?

Thanks in advance!

I don't like its lack of parallelism.

A was chosen by 9 people, B by 7, and C by 5.

Or A was the most popular, chosen by 9 people, followed by B, which was chosen by 7, and then C, chosen by 5.

Or
A 9
B 7
C 5

etc.
