Follow up or Follow up on

Please help me understand which is grammatically correct: "I will follow up your request to..." or "I will follow up ON your request to..." Thank you.

Both are correct. "on" is optional. You'll see it with "on" about as often as you'll see it without "on".

Personally, I usually use "on".
