Follow-up

Hi.
"The effects were maintained at 1-year follow-up and were associated with component-specific changes in parent behaviors and child behaviors."

'1-year follow-up' means referring of the patient after 1 year?or he referred multiple times during the year?

I suspect this would be ambiguous to all but experts in the specific field. " Whether or not other "follow-ups" were conducted before or after this one is not addressed. It's only talking about the one.

To me, it means that a one-time follow-up "examination" was conducted after a period of one year, and that the "effects" were found to be still "in effect."
