Fold with kitchen roll

Hi

Could you please help me with the typical expressions related to a kitchen roll?

(A mother/teacher is teaching a child how to tear it...)

Are these sentences natural? Any suggestions?

We tear it at the perforation.

Take two folds at the most. More will be a waste. (tear it at the second perforation at the most.)
