Focus vs Concentrate
- The advertising department is accepting ideas from all Dutch Lady employees in an attempt to reflect the true face of our company and the people who work for it. We want to convey to the public that we are a caring company, not just focused on profits.
- Why don't we say "concentrated" instead of "focused" here?

Either verb is fine, but focussed certainly works better as an adjective. You could also use 'preoccupied with ' or 'into ' or probably a number of other expressions.

Dear Teachers!
- As far as I know "concentrated" is an adjective also. So we choose "focused" here because it works better with the preposition "on" but "concentrated" does not, right?
