Fluent in Vs fluent with

1.What is the difference between "fluent in" and "fluent with" a certain language? Eg.How should we conduct exams for students who are not fluent with/in English.

2.What should be the right preposition in the sentence-Maria opened a Pandora's box at Kelly when she unknowingly arrived at her wedding with her ex-boyfriend. <Is "at" correct.>

Thanks in advance!

Maria opened a Pandora's box at Kelly's wedding when she unknowingly arrived at her wedding with her (ambiguous - Maria's ex-boyfriend or Kelly's ex-boyfriend?) ex-boyfriend.

In the sentence it meant Kelley's ex-boyfriend.
You corrected the at her wedding part and changed at kelly to at kelly's may I please know why?

And did she unknowingly arrive? The adverb is rather misplaced.

What I meant was that maria didn't know that he was Kelley's ex boyfriend and in that sense I used the word 'unknowingly'. can't we use it in that sense?

A Pandora's box was opened at Kelly's wedding by Maria when she arrived with a man who, unbeknownst to her was Kelly's ex-boyfriend.

The whole sentence can be ambiguous however it's rehashed.

Because we us "at" with places, times or events, not with people.

I am at the library. (place)
He came at 10:00 am. ( time)
We are at the wedding. (event)

So we can be at Kelly's house or at Kelly's wedding, but not "at Kelly."
