Which is correct?

Would you rephrase?

I dove and hit my face on the bottom/floor of the pool.

thanks

Say 'the bottom'. I believe I dove is American English, but outside of the USA people say I dived. Clive

I would say "bottom", though "floor" is not wrong.

Check whether you hit your face or your head.

"dove" is AmE. The BrE form is "dived".
