Why isn't "floccinauccinihilipilification" listed in dictionaries? What is its etymology? Can anyone cite serious usages in print?

You're right. I'm not sure what you had in mind, but supposedly, pneumonoultramicroscopicsilicovolcanoconiosis is the longest word. Usually it is referred to as silicosis.

True. But when I'm playing I never get any vowels. Perhaps I'll try playing Welsh Scrabble some time. Much easier! Who needs vowels anyway.
